The first event, a twilight session aimed at teachers and educators working in STEM related subjects, will introduce the Aberystwyth Technocamps hub and its workshops designed to enthuse young people about computing. There will be an overview of Technocamps, hands-on sessions and an introduction to the Aberystwyth Technocamps team, plus some robots! Contributors from the teaching and education sector. This will run from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.

Following this, BCS Mid-Wales will chair a panel session considering the broader question of computing education in the UK. A panel of experts drawn from industry and education will lead the discussion, investigating the problem of computing in schools from a variety of perspectives. This will run from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.

The evening will conclude with a buffet & opportunities for networking.

These events are free to attend and they are open to all.
